Die, and go back to where you were to collect them. Just wait till you have around a lot of souls. So I would suggest doing a run on Apocalyptic, finish the main story, get the achievement, and then start a second run on story difficulty.įor the souls achievement stuff. You will not get the achievement for Apocalyptic. Tips I can say for Plat- You can do the crucible on any difficulty and get the achievement, but if you are playing the story on Apocalyptic, and change the difficulty. The tedious ones can be grinded out in a short time This of course affected my gametime and stuff because I would hit like a tank on a Dodge counter but if I failed to dodge I would die real quick ( Crucible was fun cuz of that lol).Īs someone already said, by the end of the second playthrough you will have most of the achievements, or worked into most of them. For the skills, I upgraded health a bit and then put rest into damage and arcane. Dodging is key, once you get that down the game becomes waaay more easier. So I played it through twice on apocalyptic. Some estimates are a little longer, but I’m sure you could do it in under 40. I’d say at least 20-30 hours to platinum it. I may have ran through new game plus before I tackled Apocalyptic (can’t remember at this point), so it took me awhile. If you follow a guide they’ll tell you what to look out for, or if you’re going to play more than once, just make sure you get them in your second run. There are a few missable trophies, however. By that point, it still has its challenging moments but it’s not too bad since you’re leveled up a bunch, have weapon upgrades, and items (and lots of souls to purchase more of those items). I checked out the trophy list and figured I could do it if I played it twice (figured I’d like it enough to play it more than once) so I beat it on the easiest setting, got everything else out of the way (a couple of grinding trophies, but just follow specific guides for them), and later beat it on Apocalyptic with the New Game Plus mode. If you do Apocalyptic your first run, you can probably get it in one go but it’ll be really challenging. It really all depends on what difficulty you choose and how many times you want to play it.
